Hope is in Huntington

1 in 4 people will develop cancer during their lifetime globally. In the United States, 1 in 2 people will develop some form of cancer. The “big C” is no longer a taboo topic. Advances in cancer treatment mean that the cancer death rate in the U.S. has declined 33% since 1991. This incredible stat is due in no small part to organizations like City of Hope.

The news that City of Hope Orange County is opening a new location right in Huntington Beach is a welcomed one. It’ll mean residents can have lifesaving treatment and access to some of the best doctors, right on their doorstep.

City of Hope is the leading hospital researcher in cancer medicine, with locations across the United States and a team of over 11,000 professionals, including researchers, doctors, and volunteers. The opening of City of Hope’s new Huntington Beach location means there’s a new sense of hope for our local community.
